Firewatch Tauranga's current owners, Guy and Julie Madams, took over the business in 2014 and have taken the business from strength to strength. Under Guy and Julie's leadership, Firewatch Tauranga has expanded considerably.
Guy worked in the security industry for 20 years in Wellington before moving to Mt Maunganui. Guy is IQP-registered and certified to carry out building WOFs; IANZ accredited for gas cylinder testing laboratory; a specialist in marine fire suppression systems; and IQP registered in fire alarms and sprinklers and emergency lighting.. As well as managing all administrative work, Julie deals directly with clients.
